Funds
The GEOC offers funds that provide assistance to members experiencing hardship. This has included grants for survivors of sexual violence or graduate employees under financial strain.

Our GEOC union comes together frequently to host different events, such as solidarity dinners, with the goal of community building and collective support in mind.

Standing in solidarity with our members, GEOC fights on your behalf to improve working conditions, drive up wages, and increase your quality of life through collective bargaining.
Collective Bargaining Success
Our Union made great progress in improving working conditions during the 2025-2028 contract negotiating process. Thanks to the collective support of graduate employees, we achieved many of our bargaining objectives.
Increase Salary
Salary increases over three years, ending at $25,075
No Pay Gap
Eliminated the pay gap between disciplines without lowering salaries.
